SSA AGM 2023

Followed by a Committee Meeting and Social

at Perch Brewhouse, 44 Garden Street, Sheffield, S1 4BJ.

We are looking forward to seeing you for what we hope will be a sunny summer social, beginning with our Annual General Meeting and Committee Meeting.

 

We have had a busy year thanks to the committee and wider SSA community. Join us to review the past year, and look ahead to some of our future events. 

 

We are keen to see some familiar faces and also make new contacts from a professional background, academic background, or simply those who are curious about architecture, Sheffield and the built environment. So if you'd like to join us just to see who we are and what we do, we'd love to see you!

 

The AGM itself must follow a strict Agenda involving election / re-election of committee positions, but this will be followed by a broader chat about potential future events, and we would love to hear your ideas. There will also be a Yearly Report issued in advance, so that you can see what we have been up to since our last AGM, and what we have in the pipeline. If you look at the report and think there's something in there that you'd really like to get involved in, or see potential for us to collaborate on something new - get in touch!

 

We understand that work/university/home life may impact the way in which you want to, or are able to participate in the society. We are keen to impress that there is absolutely no obligation to commit to a regular schedule, and even if you are keen to take on a committee role we are more than happy to discuss role-sharing in order to make the positions as accessible as possible.
