Castlegate Design Charrette, 2014.

Forming part of the Urban Design Week 2014 programme, Sheffield Society of Architects organised a design charrette involving students, architects and other construction and design professionals researching and producing ideas for the Castlegate area of Sheffield City Centre. Presentations by council officials, academics and practitioners launched a day-long series of walking tours, workshops, presentations and drinks reception. There were many great ideas which were documented and issued to the local authority for use and consideration in the development of proposals for the redevelopment of the Castlegate Quarter.
